Nick Dotson - President
Nick is a Senior studying Strategic Communications, Political Science and Entrepreneurship while also working part-time as a social media strategist.
He enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and listening to music (hip-hop is his favorite genre). Nick has been a member of Ad Club for his entire college career and is excited to lead the group this year – and to eat some free pizza.
Karl Somerville - Production Director
Karl is a Junior studying Strategic Communications and Communication Arts with a certificate in Digital Media Production. He enjoys the outdoors and making music and is currently a part of the UW Athletics Video team.
Rachel Clark - Director of Client Services
Rachel Clark is a senior from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin double majoring in journalism and economics and completing a certificate in entrepreneurship. After graduating, Rachel will be moving to New York City to pursue a career in advertising. She is very passionate about books, TedTalks, jewelry, and working out.
Grace Locke - Creative Director
Grace is a Senior at UW, studying Strategic Communication with a certificate in Digital Studies. In her free time she enjoys binging Selling Sunset, checking out new coffee shops, and telling everyone how amazing Ad Club is!
Eloise Bennan - Social Media Director
Eloise Bennan is studying Strategic Communications in the J-School. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, playing with her dogs, and cooking dinner for her friends! (She’s also an avid supporter of the Oxford comma) Her favorite part of Ad Club is getting to hear broad perspectives about the advertising industry to understand the variety of career paths within the field.
Madeleine Freitag - Art Director
Hi! My name is Maddie Freitag and I am currently an undergraduate senior pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts – Graphic Design with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. I work part-time at a marketing agency here in Madison called Pop-Dot as well as for a financial company remotely. In addition to these positions, I am on the exec. board for Advertising Club (one of your art directors!), AIGA, and Swim Club UW. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, and staying active indoors and outdoors!
Lindsey Cardell - Art Director
Lindsey is a senior studying Journalism and Communication Arts. Following graduation, Lindsey plans to work her way into art direction in advertising. She enjoys storytelling and creativity and can often be found work on a design project, watching some form of media, or eating a snack (probably cookie dough and pickles).
Bobby Hinker - Finance Director
Bobby is a Senior from Green Bay studying Communication Arts with certificates in Public Policy and Sports Communications. This summer he landed an internship with the Madison Mallards through his connections with Ad Club!
Makenna Erickson - Events Coordinator
Makenna is a Sophomore studying Strategic Communications with a certificate in Digital Studies. In her free time she loves watch movies and bake. She loves Ad Club for the awesome networking opportunities!
Yonah Davis - Events Coordinator
Yonah is a sophomore at UW studying Journalism. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking, camping and trying new recipes. He’s excited for the amazing Ad Club events!
Hallie Humbert - Director of External Communications
Hallie is a junior studying Strategic Communications, Political Science and digital studies while also working part-time as a public relations intern. She loves cooking, her cat Winnie, and skiing, and is excited for another awesome semester of ad club!!!
