Weekly General Meetings:

Advertising Club meets every Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm in 2195 Vilas Hall and also via Zoom for online attendees. Meetings feature speakers from all over the advertising industry, opportunities to meet club members, and free pizza!  🍕 🍕


Agency takes place in person every Tuesday following general meetings starting at 7 pm. Each week, members of Agency join a team of students in creating advertising campaigns for local businesses, non-profits, and other organizations. Agency is a great place to gain real experience in creating advertising campaigns and also to get to know other members of the club!

This week, we’re thrilled to welcome one of our speakers Meredith Reimer! Meredith graduated from the University of Florida, where following her graduation she worked for the Home Shopping Network (HSN) as a social media coordinator and then as a social media marketing specialist. Later Meredith worked at 22squared, an agency in Tampa as an account executive and content marketing manager. Then Meredith started her 3-year journey at Soulsight as a senior creative strategist, strategy director, and now Vice President of Strategy. Our second speaker for this week is UW-Madison J-School alumnus Jessica Feld! Jessica graduated from the J-School in 2010, where she was a part of the Daily Cardinal and WSUM Student Radio. She kick-started her career as a public relations intern at Special Olympics WI and then as an account coordinator for Brandimage/SCHAWK!. For the last 10 years, Jessica has worked for Soulsight – first as an account manager, then a senior account manager, then an account growth director, then the SVP of brand partnerships, and now she’s the EVP of brand partnerships! Soulsight is an Iconic Brand Design agency in Chicago. With over 20 years of experience, Soulsight specializes in developing brands for our client partners that succeed in the marketplace. They believe the soul of the brand is its emotional connection to humans. Uncovering the brand soul enables the brand to engage with people on an emotional level which is designed to connect and communicate in a way that creates desire, elicits joy and builds brand loyalty. They’ve worked with clients like Coors, Hersheys, McDonalds, The Pistons, and many more.Please come with questions to ask our speakers Meredith and Jessica! 

Ad Club Updates:

  • Dues will be $10 for this semester. Those who paid for the full year will be reimbursed $10.
